Highline Winter Player Academy at Valley Ridge

Highline Youth Soccer families:

The Highline Soccer Association, in conjunction with Highline Premier FC is pleased to offer the HIGHLINE WINTER DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY. The HIGHLINE DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY provides an outstanding opportunity for serious, motivated young soccer players to challenge themselves and develop the skills necessary for personal improvement. The program will consist of 6 (1.5 hour) sessions with instruction and activities that include core 1v1 attacking, core passing and core receiving. Development staff coaches from Highline Premier FC and Coerver® Coaching will stimulate young players' development in skills and techniques essential for personal improvement. Highline Juniors Program

Highline Youth Soccer families:

Highline Premier FC, the advanced development club of the Highline Soccer Association, is excited to announce the launch of the HIGHLINE JUNIORS Program. The new program is a seasonal supplemental soccer program for enthusiastic, motivated boy and girl recreational soccer players in the U8, U9 and U10 age groups. The Spring Program will be from February through April.

HIGHLINE JUNIORS is part of the new Washington Youth Soccer Regional Club League (RCL) Junior Academy Program. The program is open to any player seeking participation in a higher level of training and match experiences. It is ideally suited for recreational players and parents desiring a more soccer-intensive, advanced player development experience delivered in a more structured skills development process. The program's focus is on rapid skills development in a fun, high energy environment facilitated by professional soccer trainers experienced in working with young children.

Participants in the Spring HIGHLINE JUNIORS Program will receive training each Wednesday or Thursday at 5PM at scheduled locations in West Seattle, Seatac and/or Highline. Sessions are 90 minutes and start the week of January 30th. Games will be held on the weekends and will include a fun mix of small-sided games, jamborees and matches, both within the program and with other area programs and clubs.

HIGHLINE JUNIORS is a program open to all interested players. Registration for the Assessment & Placement Sessions is Free, Online and Now Open. Practice Fields

The WHSC Practice Field Schedule (Excel 97-2003 version) the test version is available for anyone to view. To reserve or change practice field / time for your team, please review the spreadsheet for availability. After choosing your preferred field and time, please contact WHSC Practice Field Scheduler, Chris Braun, at chris.braun@varolii.com, to update the master spreadsheet and reserve your slot.

Washington State Law Concerning Head Injuries

The Washington State legislature recently passed a House Bill 1824 establishing new policies for the management of concussion and head injuries in youth sports. Click here to read the the new law.

 
Washington Youth Soccer Coaching Clinics

WSYSA Sponsored Coaching

The Washington State Youth Soccer Association (WSYSA) offers classes and clinics developed by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) to assist in player development. No Pets Please!

We all love pets but they don't belong on the soccer field (whether leashed or not). The fields we use are provided by the local municipalities, all of which prohibit pets on athletic fields. Violations of those policies can result in the loss of access to those fields at a time when field space is already tight.

Please don't bring pets to the field!
